Parents' Picnic
Annie, Sarah, and visitors Marilyn and Joe take a break by the tomato babies. Sunday was our parents' picnic on the farm. The 80+ degree weather was a huge change from the last time our parents were here when there was over 2 feet of snow on the farm!
^Diane, Ralph, and Megan assemble the wash station. Right: A finished drying rack assembled from all salvaged and recycled materials! (It's great to get a break from the sun here.)

Before and After: This is our keyhole bed section - the path is shaped like a keyhole within a circle to maximize bed space and minimize the space for paths. This was a fun space to create and fill with lettuces, endive, greens, arugula, and radishes.
